Assigning a patient to an affiliate provider is what initiates the sync between your DPC network’s Hint account and the affiliate’s Hint account. A patient's chart will sync to an affiliate if the provider is part of an affiliate, the patient is assigned to the provider, and the membership is active.
Follow these steps to assign a patient to an affiliate provider:
Navigate to the patient chart
Click 'Edit Patient'
Select the provider's name from the 'Provider' dropdown
Click 'Update'
You will know a patient is synced successfully because you will see the network icon next to the patient's name. Hover over the network icon to view the name of the affiliate, last date/time the chart was synced, and status.
