Connecting your Hint Account to Stripe

Stripe is Hint's payment processor. One of the first things you will want to do in your new account is connect to Stripe so you can collect payments. 

To connect to Stripe:

  1. Head to Admin > Integrations in Hint

  2. Click the blue 'Connect to Stripe' button. 


You will be taken to a short form to fill out. This form requires information about you, your business, and is where you will enter the bank account details for where you would like your deposits to go. This form should be completed by the owner of the business.

An example of this form can be seen below. Please note the form may vary slightly. 

Note: Stripe requires a SSN for the business owner. Click here to learn more from Stripe about this requirement.

You will then be given an opportunity to review your account details before submitting to Stripe.

Note: If you do not have a website, this may hinder your ability to register with Stripe. However, you can provide your social media profile, which has details about the products you sell, in place of the website.
