Editing a Submitted Intake Form

Providers frequently ask how to fix spelling errors or make other corrections to submitted intake forms. The problem with allowing users to change the data that was entered by a client is that it would invalidate our audit trail, which is required for e-signature compliance.

There is an easy way to get around this by allowing you to create an editable copy of a submitted intake form, without changing the original. The editable copy will go into the client timeline, in the form of a treatment note. It can then be edited, printed and exported.

To create an editable copy, open a submitted form, and click "More > Editable Copy".

Clicking on the highlighted button above will create the copy and redirect you to the treatment note section where you can make changes to the form.
