How to craft your provider profile bio

Why complete your provider bio? Updating your bio sets you apart from other physicians and enables prospective patients to get to know you.

Provider profiles can be located by selecting:

  1. Select “Admin”

  2. Select “Providers & Patients”

  3. Under the “Providers” section is the provider profile

  • To update an existing provider profile select “Edit” on the right-hand side of the existing profile.

  • To add a new provider profile select “+New Provider” from the right-hand side. A new profile will pop up to be filled in.

Healthcare Provider Bio Template (include a headline and brief intro that is around 130 characters)

Headline: (Name, Credentials)

Highlight your specialty or area of focus (e.g., Board-Certified Family Physician specializing in Sports Medicine)

Introduction: Briefly introduce yourself and your passion for healthcare; consider including how long you've been practicing.

Education & Credentials: List your educational background, including:

  • University and degree (e.g., Bachelor of Science in Biology)

  • Medical school and degree (if applicable)

  • Residency or fellowship training (if applicable)

  • Board certifications (if applicable)

Experience: Briefly describe your professional journey, including:

  • Areas of healthcare you've worked in

  • Specific clinical interests or expertise

Philosophy of Care: Briefly explain your approach to patient care. Mention what you value most in your interactions with patients.
