Configuring Your Clinic's Hours of Operation

Please note that you can always manually schedule exceptions to these hours but your clinic hours should reflect when you want patients to be able to self-book appointments.

To create your practice hours and to allow patients to self-schedule at this location, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log into Hint Clinical

  2. Go to Settings > Calendar Locations

  3. Click Add Location

  4. Select the location from the drop-down and add the relevant information

    1. Note: at this time, the contact email and phone number fields are not the email address or phone number that is used for patient appointment emails or appointment reminders via SMS. Regardless of what is entered here for email or phone number, appointment emails and appointment reminders via SMS are sent from your Clinical practice email address and phone number. For example: listing an email or phone number on your Calendar Location Settings that is not your Clinical practice email or phone number will not change the email or phone number that is used for appointment emails or reminders via SMS.

  5. Ensure that you select the date/time availability for the Clinic location when any of the Clinicians are available for patient appointments.

  6. Click save

To update your practice hours and to allow patients to self-schedule at this location, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log into Hint Clinical

  2. Go to Settings > Calendar Locations

  3. Click edit on the location

  4. If you will be posting booking links to your website or sending patient booking links to schedule an appointment, ensure you have enabled the setting for "allow appointments to be booked at this location"

  5. Update your practice's hours of operation by selecting the days your clinic is open

  6. Click save
