To update a clinician's availability or block specific times or days, please follow the steps below:
Log in to Hint
Click Admin > Team
Choose the clinician
Click Calendar & Availability
Update the clinician's availability by selecting each day they see patients
To block specific times or days, use Hint Health's internal features by navigating to the Calendar tab, selecting the date and time, and choosing 'Meeting' as the event type. For recurring blocks, click 'Repeat Weekly' and save the event.
Alternatively, use the 'Out of Office' feature on the Hint Clinical Calendar page to block off multiple days at once.
If there are time blocks where you only accept virtual appointments, please select the "virtual only" checkbox to the right of that time block
You can further define your availability by appointment type
To block specific days or times for one appointment type without affecting others, update the provider's availability to ensure they are not open to that appointment type during the blocked period.
Click save
If your calendar is synced with Google Calendar, create recurring unavailable blocks directly in Google Calendar (e.g., 9-10 am daily). These blocks will sync with Hint Health to ensure no appointments are booked during those times.
