For Hint Payments, emails inviting users to access their electronic 1099-K copies are sent out at the beginning of January to the owner’s email listed on the Hint Payment's application. The email comes from this email address: 1099-k@pmt-info.com.
If you do not access your electronic copy, a paper copy will be mailed to the address listed in your Hint Payments application by January 31st.
Note: The IRS requires payment processors to file 1099-K reports for all merchants that exceed the IRS minimums set for that calendar year. For 2025, the minimum is $20,000 and 200 payments.
