What is Vivlio Health?
Vivlio retrieves outside medical records and brings them into Hint. It automatically pulls patient histories from hospitals, health systems, and specialists, so you can review them inside your Hint Clinical workflow instead of chasing records down by fax, phone, or portal login. Vivlio is available to providers and staff who are actively treating patients.
How does Vivlio work with Hint?
With Vivlio's integration with Hint, your practice can:

How do I start using Vivlio with Hint?
Go to the Hint Marketplace. Select and install the Vivlio Health integration.
Complete your practice profile by providing: Authorized contact information, Group NPI, Tax ID.
Review and accept the professional terms of service to activate your account.
What types of records can Vivlio retrieve?
Vivlio provides a 360-degree view of patient health, including:

Do I need patient consent to access their records?
Under HIPAA, providers can access patient records for Treatment, Payment, and Healthcare Operations (TPO) without separate consent for each retrieval. Vivlio handles this exchange within a secure, compliant framework using national Treatment Exchange Purpose guidelines.
How much does Vivlio cost?
Vivlio starts at $49/month per practice, which includes 25 transactions (patient record retrievals) per month. Beyond that, each additional transaction is $2.
What is considered a transaction?
A transaction is one patient record retrieval, no matter how many facilities are queried. Pulling records for one patient from 15 different hospitals still counts as a single transaction.
When do I start getting charged?
You're not billed when you turn on the integration. Charges start when you pull your first record.
If I don't use my 25 transactions in a month, will they carry over?
No. Transactions reset each month and don't carry over.
