Hint provides the capability to transfer a payment source to another patient while allowing the first owner to either keep the payment source or have it removed.
To Move a Payment Method to Another Patient:
Navigate to the patient who has the payment method on file
Click on their 'Payment Options' tab
Click on 'Other Actions' > 'Move All Payment Methods to Another Patient'
4. Select the new owner of the payment method(s).
5. Choose whether or not to remove the payment method(s) from the current patient. If you choose not to remove the payment method(s) from the current patient, the payment method(s) will be available on both patients' accounts after the copy.
6. Click Confirm to copy the payment method to the new owner.
Once confirmed, you can navigate to the other patient's record and see that the payment method was copied.
