Ordering Compound Medication in Dose Spot

To begin, click the Add a Prescription button on the patient landing page.

Click on the Create a Compound text.

Fill in the Compound Name field and add your first ingredient.

Search for the ingredient in the search bar. Select the desired ingredient and strength, then provide the Dispense and Total Dispense Form.

If the desired strength or ingredient is not present in the search results, click on Add as a Custom Compound. This will allow you to create a custom ingredient.

If you choose to create a custom ingredient, you must confirm that the ingredient is not a controlled substance before adding it to the compound. Check the box to confirm.

Once all the ingredients are added, fill in the rest of the prescription information. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*).

Once all the required fields are completed, click the Create Compound button.

The compound will appear under the Items to Prescribe section for your review
