It would be helpful to be able to sort by the primary household member only and not see the dependents. When we are contacting patients in our employer groups it would be helpful to only see the primary member as they are the ones we would contact and not the dependednts.2 votes
You can view only the primary’s info via the ‘memberships’ report for consumers.
For employers: If you go to a specific employer, you’ll see that employer’s employees in a list where you can clearly differentiate between employees and dependents.
Can we please add a feature to the online patient portal that shows them where the routing and account number are found on the check?
Add a diagram of a check and circle the routing number and label it and circle the account number and label it so people who may not be familiar with how to use ACH/EFT know which numbers to enter correctly to get there accounts set up properly.1 vote
This was released last week!
Create a report or alert for memberships renewing/expiring.
Based on the membership start date Hint has, it would be helpful to receive a notification of memberships that are approaching 12 months (or other stated expiration), so that we can contact patients about renewal, any change of terms for the coming year.2 votes
You can now configure membership contract lengths on your membership plan and enable renewal email notifications to your patients. Learn more about it here: https://blog.hint.com/product/fixed-term-plans?utm_campaign=Product%20Updates&utm_source=hs_email&utm_medium=email&utm_content=57978678&_hsenc=p2ANqtz-9dX158iTbcVks0AWIvFQH3wF5rtKa97RCMOi1pjNgO6pYOjkuNfcsdxBoKhC4N4WF61q2nd7ZpS4tI7Z74cRgzvoIP-Q&_hsmi=57978678

You’ll now see a notes tab on all employer accounts. These notes are viewable/editable only by your team and cannot be viewed by the employer.

Ability for the payment source fields to be optional so patients who are uncomfortable adding a payment source before their first appointment, can still sign up.4 votes
You can now make payment source collection, optional, required or disable it altogether from your online signup settings: https://support.hint.com/knowledgebase/articles/1841767-optional-payment-source-collection-from-online-sig
The ability to select which Hint users receive notifications either via permissions role or via checkbox next to their username.8 votes
You can now select which Hint users receive practice notifications by toggling on/off notifications in the team section. Just navigate to ‘Admin’ and click on ‘Practice’ and ‘Team.’ Then just click ‘edit’ next to the user’s name to enable or disable notifications to this user about patients in your Hint account.
I want to be able to provide a reason for voiding or refunding an invoice so that if my staff creates this action and another staff looks at it later it will be clear why it was done. I often have to remember why I provided someone with a refund then reviewing their account rather than being able to say pt was overcharged.3 votes
I get an email every time a new account is created. Can this be turned off if the new member account was created by a staff member?1 vote
It would be nice to be able to edit the name on the payment received email to say something like "Hello Mr. Smith" instead of "Hello Smith Rentals, LLC" or "Hello Jim" rather than "Hello James"4 votes
You can configure/change the salutation and closing message here: https://provider.hint.com/admin/notifications/settings
The new Annual Statement Report is great. Ideally, we would be able to pull these by any user-defined date range. Quite a few members request Statements that are not just calendar-year.8 votes
Thank you all for your feedback! The ability to print or email your patients a custom date range of invoice is now live on Hint. Here’s a help article that overviews the feature: http://support.hint.com/knowledgebase/articles/1127425-print-email-patient-payment-summary-invoice-summa
This is critical for all the Liberty Direct patients who will now have to submit their bills for "sharing". Those practices that have a significant number of LD patients will be burdened by having to send invoices manually. This needs to be at the top of the priority list to be done prior to Feb 1.1 vote
The PDF invoice is now automatically emailed to the patient following a payment. This requires you to have the ‘Membership Paid’ email turned on. To turn on this notification, navigate to ‘Admin’ and click on ‘Notifications.’ Then toggle the on switch next to notification ‘6 – Membership Paid.’ Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or trouble enabling this notification.
Currently it only goes to patients who enroll via the online signup form when auto-confirm is turned on. Would like this email to automatically go to all new patients.19 votes
Membership created notification is now sent to all patients once their membership is confirmed.

Split an invoice between multiple payment sources including ability to select from mutliple stored payment sources stored in Hint and partial card/partial cash payment.40 votes
Partial payments are live—a payment for any amount less than the total amount due—can now be made against any outstanding invoice with any payment source on file. This gives your patients flexibility to pay what they can when they can, without making you hack through refunds or split charges across multiple smaller invoices. From now on, any invoice will remain in the ‘Issued’ state until it becomes fully paid. Payments of less than the full amount must be authorized on an ad-hoc basis from your Hint admin console, putting you in full control of this new flexibility. For more information on using partial payments, please reference this help article: http://support.hint.com/knowledgebase/articles/797808-paying-invoices?utm_source=product_updates&utm_campaign=partial_payments&utm_medium=email
Notify practice admins when a patient is approaching the age of 65 (Medicare eligible age).
Notify patient when they enter a new aged based payment tier and their membership increases32 votes
Hint will send you a notification whenever a patient is aging up to a new price tier on their next invoice. This will allow you to reach out to the patient to notify them of a pricing difference. This notification can be viewed here: https://provider.hint.com/admin/notifications/practice
Allow customer to pay non-membership invoices - e.g. add "charge to Visa XX" button on their view of the invoice. This way we can send them the charges and they can view/agree and pay when they are ready without having to contact us16 votes
There is now a ‘pay invoice’ button on all PDF invoices sent to patients allowing them to decide when they would like to process payment on the invoice.
It would be great to be able to run different payment options under a specific invoice without having to change the default payment setting.4 votes
When creating a new payment, you’ll now see a drop down menu where you can choose between any payment source you have on file for that payer. You can create as many separate payments as you need to equal the full balance of the invoice. Now members can easily pay across several cards, bank accounts, or even cash. Here’s a help article to walk you through it: http://support.hint.com/knowledgebase/articles/797808-paying-invoices?utm_source=product_updates&utm_campaign=partial_payments&utm_medium=email
Requesting that we have the ability to turn a provider off so that new patients can not select them when signing up. However, still have the ability to have that provider listed for patients that have requested them in the past for accounting purposes. Or, if a provider chooses to temporarily close their practice to new patients, that we have the ability to take them off or add them back on at anytime but not to lose their patient database.6 votes
You can now turn providers on and off or set a panel size limit which will automatically remove the provider as an option from online signup once they’ve reached their max number of patients. To configure this for your physicians, click here: http://support.hint.com/knowledgebase/articles/1096291-setting-provider-panel-size-limits
