A bank account (ACH) charge is not refundable until it has been successfully paid. We know this is not ideal, but currently this is an inherent part of the bank account transfer process that is beyond Hint's control. In general, ACH payments can take up to 5 business days to complete.

You can process a refund while the payment is clearing, however, the refund will not initiate until after the payment has cleared. It can take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to return to the patient's account after the clearing phase.
