Your practice may have various physical locations, virtual locations, and location groups. You can set these up under Admin > Providers and Patients in Hint.ย
Please note: Clinical customers do not have the option to add locations in Hint.
Enabling Location Tracking
If you have multiple clinic locations & need to assign patients to their respective locations, you will need to enable location tracking in your Hint account.
To enable location tracking:
Navigate to Admin > Providers and Patients and click on the Patients tab.
Toggle on the Track patients by location setting on this page.
After enabling location tracking, if you need assistance with bulk assigning patients to their clinic location in Hint, please reach out to support@hint.com.
Adding A New Location
Head to Admin > Providers and Patients and click on the Locations tab.
Click +New Location to create your new location.
If the new location is a virtual location, just toggle on the Virtual location setting to remove the address requirement.
Assigning providers to the new location
After adding the new location, you will want to assign relevant providers to it to ensure accurate provider/location associations. You can edit providers' location assignments under Admin > Providers and Patients on the Providers tab.
Creating Location Groups
Head to the "Location Groups" tab and create a group if you plan on clustering multiple locations under one group. An example of this would be all locations in the state of California are grouped together so that you can report by state.
Assigning A Location to a Location Group
On the "Locations" tab, click "Edit" to the right of a location and assign it to a location group from the dropdown menu:
