Ensure your members have access to the patient portal. This article outlines how to obtain your patient portal link and share it with your members.
Sharing patient clinical data through the portal
Now you can share individual interactions in the patient portal. This gives you ultimate control over what information you choose to share with your members.
Open the patient's chart and locate the relevant clinical data you want to share within "Interactions" (e.g., After Visit Summary).
Click on the toggle switch next to "Member Access" until you see a checkmark for any items you want to share with the member in the patient portal.
When prompted, choose whether to notify the patient that the shared data is available in their portal.
You can also share health data and notify the patient in a single step directly from an open interaction.
How patients are notified:
If your practice uses chat, the shared item appears as a card in the patient's chat. The patient is notified of the new chat message via SMS and the patient can click the card within the chat thread to open the shared data.
If your practice does not use chat, the patient receives an SMS with a direct link to the shared data in the portal.
Interactions that can be shared to the patient's portal:
Signed Notes (Notes in "Draft" status must be signed first)
Signed Documents (Documents in "Draft" status must be signed first)
Vitals
Rx (both ePrescribed and dispensed in-house interactions)
Completed Forms (Forms that have not been completed yet can not be shared)
Lab Results (Lab Orders that have not been resulted yet can not be shared)
