Customize email notifications sent to patients and members

Hint sends automated emails to patients on your behalf notifying them of upcoming charges, receipts, and requests for updated payment information, among others. Hint customizes each email with your practice name, contact information, and logo found at Admin > Account.

You can view each email and customize as needed by following directions below.

  1. Navigate to Admin > Notifications

  2. Select 'Patient' to view notifications sent to all patients. This includes charge failed notifications, birthday emails, abandoned signup notifications, receipts, and more.

  3. Select 'Membership' to view notifications sent to members including a welcome email, contract renewal emails, notifications of upcoming membership charges, and more.


Click 'View' under each email to view the email content. If you would like customize the content, follow these directions.

You can toggle most notifications to On or Off depending on practice preference.
