These tools help practices understand the effectiveness of their marketing campaigns, track conversions, and gain actionable insights:
Enhanced UTM Parameter Support: Our platform now ensures UTM and other URL parameters remain intact throughout the patient signup process. Additionally, if a practice sets a redirect URL, these parameters will carry through to the redirected site, enabling seamless campaign tracking and attribution.
Custom JavaScript Integration: Practices can leverage custom JavaScript on their signup pages to use tools like Google Analytics for deeper insights into campaign performance and patient acquisition.
Conversion Tracking with Unique Identifiers: When signups are completed through our platform, redirect URLs include a unique identifier for the newly created membership. This allows practices to confirm conversions and, using our public API, access detailed membership information, such as patient coverage and pricing information.
Example URLs and Parameters
Example URL the patient was sent to:
βhttps://sunrisedpc.hint.com/signup?utm_campaign=adwords
Example redirect URL:
βhttps://www.sunrisedpc.com/custom_thanks_page?utm_campaign=adwords&hint_membership_id=mem-23kj4h32kj4h
Setting the Redirect URL
You can set the redirect URL in the Online Signup Settings page at the bottom. For step-by-step instructions, refer to our help article: Online Signup Settings.
Adding Custom JavaScript
To integrate tools like Google Analytics, you can add custom JavaScript to your online signup pages. Learn how to do this in our help guide: Adding Custom JavaScript to Online Signup.
Unique Identifier for Conversions
When a patient completes the signup process, we will automatically append the hint_membership_id
parameter (e.g., hint_membership_id=mem-23kj4h32kj4h
) to the redirect URL. No additional settings need to be enabled for this functionality.
Lead Sources
We also support tracking lead sources via URL parameters, which are displayed on the patient record in the app. To configure and use lead sources, visit our guide: Configuring Lead Sources. Note: Lead sources are created automatically via URL parameters and do not need to be manually configured beforehand.
For additional guidance on tracking lead sources within our app, check out our help article: Tracking Online Signup by Source.
Reports to Track Performance
To analyze and improve your marketing campaigns, take advantage of our built-in reports:
Patient Lead Sources Report: Provides insights into the effectiveness of lead sources. Learn more.
Abandonment Tracking Report: Tracks signup attempts and abandonment to optimize the signup process. Learn more.
Public API and Webhooks
For users of the public API, you can receive webhooks about Abandonment Tracking as well. Refer to our developer documentation for details: Signup Attempt Webhooks.
By using these features and resources, you can confidently track the performance of your marketing efforts, improve conversions, and gain actionable insights into patient acquisition.
